May 14, 2008 I flew to China for the first time. This trip was the beginning of a new chapter of my life. As the plane descended to the Hong Kong airport, I was reading my Bible and writing in my journal. I was writing out a verse and just as the airplane wheels hit the runway my pen jerked on the page resulting in a bit of a scribble leaving a clear record of the exact moment I arrived to China. I had been writing out the first and last verses of Isaiah 61:
2008年5月14日，我第一次飞往中国。这次旅行开启了我的人生新篇章。当飞机降落在香港机场时，我正在读圣经，写日记。我正写着一节经文，就在飞机的轮子恰好落到跑道上的时候，我的笔在纸上急滑了一下，字迹有点潦草，这清楚地记录了我到达中国的那一刻。我当时正在写下《以赛亚书》第61章的第一节和最后一节：
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

主耶和华的灵在我身上。因为耶和华用膏膏我，叫我传好信息给谦卑的人，（或作传福音给贫穷的人）差遣我医好伤心的人，报告被掳的得释放，被囚的出监牢。田地怎样使百谷发芽，园子怎样使所种的发生，主耶和华必照样使公义和赞美在万民中发出。

What is the Anointing?
什么是膏抹？
Anointing oil was used to set apart priests, prophets, kings and consecrate holy items to be used in the tabernacle or temple. When a person was anointed, there was also a pouring out of the Spirit of the Lord upon that person and they were changed and empowered. When Saul was anointed as king, he prophesied. When David was anointed, his life radically changed, and he had incredible faith and courage. When the priests were anointed, they could approach the holy presence of the Lord. When prophets were anointed, they proclaimed the Word of God fearlessly and with power.
膏抹被用于按立祭司、先知、国王和将帐幕或圣殿里的物品分别为圣。当一个人受膏的时候，主的圣灵会倾注在那人身上，他们就被改变，得了权柄。当扫罗受膏为王时，就说预言。当大卫受膏时，他的生命彻底改变了，他有了难以置信的信心和勇气。当祭司受膏时，他们可以接近神的圣容。当先知受膏时，他们无畏地靠着大能宣告神的话语。
Can we also receive this kind of anointing and filling of the Spirit? It may seem a bit presumptuous to put ourselves in the category of priest, prophet, king or holy article.
我们也能接受这种圣灵的膏抹和充满吗？将自己置身于祭司、先知、国王或圣物之列，似乎有点放肆。
David’s Anointing
大卫的受膏
When David was just a young shepherd, he was chosen by God out of all of his brothers to be king. The moment happened when the prophet Samuel was sent to anoint Israel’s new king. David’s anointing was a private moment with no big celebration, it was just between Samuel and David’s family. But the effects of the anointing from God changed David and the course of his life.
当大卫还是个牧羊少年，他就被神在诸兄中拣选为王。这发生在先知撒母耳被派往以色列去膏抹新王的时候。大卫是在私底下受膏的，没有盛大庆祝活动，仅仅只有撒母耳和大卫的家人。但神的膏油改变了大卫和他的人生轨迹。
So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.” So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.
1 Samuel 16:12-13 NIV
耶西就打发人去叫了他来。他面色光红，双目清秀，容貌俊美。耶和华说，这就是他，你起来膏他。撒母耳就用角里的膏油，在他诸兄中膏了他。从这日起，耶和华的灵就大大感动大卫。撒母耳起身回拉玛去了。

At that moment, David did not assume the office of the king. Saul was still the king and would be for many years. But as soon as the anointing oil from Samuel’s horn hits David’s head, the Spirit of the Lord powerfully came upon David and from that moment onward David functioned with a kingly anointing and the power of God. Only he, Samuel and his family knew about his life calling as king but, in the meantime, he was still a shepherd.
那时，大卫还没有登上王位。扫罗仍然是王，而且还要做王很多年。但是撒母耳角上的膏油一碰到大卫的头，神的灵就大大感动大卫，从那时起，大卫就凭着王的膏抹和神的大能行事。只有大卫，撒母耳和大卫的家人知道他的人生被召为王，但是，此时此刻，他还是个牧羊人。
It was going to take years before David arrived at the office of the king, but the course of his life was about to turn. With the kingly anointing and Spirit of the Lord upon him, David accomplished much in the years before he turned 30 and became King of Judah. Some of his exploits with the power of God:
多年以后大卫才登基为王，但他的人生路线即将改变。正因主的恩膏和圣灵的同在，大卫在他30岁成为犹大王之前成就了许多事情。下面是他靠着神的大能所取得的一些功绩：

- Writing worship music
- Serving King Saul as a musician
- Serving King Saul as a victorious warrior
- Befriending Jonathan
- Leading bands of warriors
- Living as a fugitive on the run from Saul

With God’s power He was a warrior and a worshipper. Once he became king, he would continue as a powerful military leader and national worship leader. He led armies on the battlefield, and He administrated worship teams and planned a temple. All with the anointing from the Lord and power of the Spirit.
靠着神的力量，他成为了一名战士和敬拜者。当他成为国王，他也将继续担任一个强大的军事领袖和国家的敬拜领袖。他在战场上领导军队，并管理敬拜团队，计划建造一座圣殿。一切都因着有神的膏油和圣灵的能力。
David also had his downfalls. He erroneously had the ark of the covenant carried on a cart resulting in the death of a man. He stole another man’s wife and then had him murdered. He took a census of the land when he was warned not to. All of these sins or mistakes had consequences. But each time he was repentant the Spirit of the Lord did not depart from him. He witnessed with his own eyes the devastating effects of the Spirit departing from Saul so in his repentance, He asked the Holy Spirit to remain upon him. In repenting of his sin of adultery and murder he famously wrote in Psalm 51:
大卫也有跌倒的时候。他误把约柜放到一辆马车上，导致一个人死亡。他偷了另一个男人的妻子，然后又谋杀了他。他被警告制止却仍然数点百姓。所有这些罪恶或错误都会带来后果。但每次他悔改，Shen的灵就不离开他。他亲眼目睹了圣灵离开扫罗所带来的灾难性后果，所以他在忏悔的时候求圣灵留在他身上。他为通奸罪和谋杀罪忏悔时，在诗篇第51篇中写道：
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

He knew he was nothing without the anointing of the Spirit of the Lord.

Go with the anointing!
带着恩膏出发！
If you have received the gift of salvation from Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is living inside of you. At any moment of any day, you can ask the Holy Spirit to guide and empower you. You do not need to depend on your own sense of direction or natural strength to do what God has prepared for you. The Holy Spirit will lead and empower your mission. Look to Him, ask Him to fill you and anoint you to live a life for Christ. You have a unique calling from God, do not leave it up to your own ideas and inspiration to guide you. Depend on the Holy Spirit to lead you as you press on for Christ to preach the Good News, bind up the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom for those who are bound. Go with His anointing!
你若从耶稣基督那里领受了救恩的礼物，圣灵就住在你里面。无论何时，你都可以请求圣灵来引导你并赐你力量。你不需要依靠自己的方向感或自身的力量去做神为你预备的事情。圣灵将会引导你的使命并赐你力量。仰望祂，让祂充满你，膏抹你为基督而活。你有一个来自神的独特呼召，不要让自己的想法和灵感来引导你。依靠圣灵来引导你，坚持为基督传讲福音，医好伤心的人，报告被掳的得释放。带着恩膏出发！
